Tagline

This is a musical tale of love in Yonkers near the turn-of-the-century. Two clerks find adventures by going to New York City, and a matchmaker tries to make a match for herself with a miserly feed store owner. His neice makes efforts to win his approval to marry an artist. The happy ending is highlighted by some famous Jerry Herman songs including: "Before the Parade Passes By", "It Only Take a Moment", and the title song, "Hello, Dolly!". Jerry Herman is also known for Mame.
